Introduction
Do you know who the
first people to live in North America were? They were Native Americans,
also know as Indians.
You will be studying three different
groups of Native Americans; the Powhatan, the Sioux, and the Pueblo.
Each group of people lived in
a different area of the United States. The climate was different
in each area. The people lived in different types of homes and
their food was different.
You will be exploring the different
lives of each group of people. If you are ready to begin, click
on the task link at the bottom of the page.

- To begin our adventure of
exploring the Powhatan, Sioux, and Pueblo click on the SOLPass
link.
- Click on the Social Studies
Grade 3 button. The teacher will provide the password on the
board.
- Have your SOLPass checklist
and study guide with you. As you complete each activity, place
a check mark beside the activity's name on the check list. Click
on check list to print a copy of the sheet if you do not have
yours.
- Make sure that you have explored
all 3 groups of Native Americans.
- Now that you have completed
your research use the information that you remember and the study
guide to create a Power Point Presentation. Click on the Process link to learn more.
