Our Washington County School Board Chair, Jenny Nichols hosted the annual VSBA (Virginia School Board Association) Southwest Region Spring Forum at the Higher Ed Center on May 30 and it was a huge success via The Washington Way! The Southwest region consists of 14 other school divisions. We were able to showcase and show off several of our wonderful departments.
First, we received donated flowers and plants from all four high school Agriculture Departments. These beautiful arrangements decorated the tables and were used as door prizes. Those who did not win were envious!

Next, the guests were treated to an awesome dinner that was prepared by our own amazing School Nutrition Department. They put on a feast and everything was DELICIOUS ~ check out the menu!!

The John S. Battle Jazz Band played during dinner and they were FANTASTIC! THANK YOU STUDENTS!!
And lastly (but the first on everyone's minds) was the array of DESSERTS! The CTE (Career & Technical Ed) Culinary Arts Department, Katrina Wise and her students provided the event with an AMAZING assortment of the best desserts you could imagine.
