Today we celebrated the retirement of Mr. Davidson and Mrs. Gilbert. A lot of stories and tears were shared as we celebrated their retirement. Even though we are excited for this new chapter in their lives we are very sad to see them leave us here at High Point. They will definitely be missed.

Here at High Point we are usually late when it comes to recognizing some really important people and this was no exception. Last week was Assistant Principal's Week and we let that one slip right by without recognizing a very important person in not just our High Point staff lives but also the kids lives. Mrs. Clayman thank you for everything you do for us and all the kiddos. We are sorry we are late but that does not mean we love you any less ❤️

➗ A Sweet Way to Learn

Students at High Point Elementary School celebrated an early Pi Day with a delicious math lesson! Second graders explored fractions using pie, helping them visually identify equal parts while practicing fraction vocabulary.

After learning how pies can be divided into halves, fourths, and more, students got to enjoy the tasty treat as well! Hands-on learning (and a little pie!) made this math lesson extra memorable.
